How to configure the test level settings?

Know the various test settings and how to configure the settings.

iMocha lets you customize  the test settings like test proctoring, scoring parameters, and the test name as well. 

To configure the test settings:

  1. Go to Skills Validation->Tests->My Tests.

  2. Select the Test that you want to customize.

  3. Click Settings.

Note: Only the test in Draft mode can be edited, if Published ensure to move the test to Draft mode to make changes.

The customizable test settings are given below:

1. Test Settings:

These are the settings that set the structure of the test.

a. Test Name: It is the name given to the test by you or by your teammate.

b. Test Alias Name: The test name you want to show to the employee in the communication emails or while writing the test.

c.Test Description: You can add a description to the test here to help the employees have detailed information about the content, scope, and objectives of the test. The field has a character limit of 5000.

d. Topics Covered: You can add the topics included in the test here to help the employees locate the relevant tests based on the topics. The field has a character limit of 5000.

e. Test Summary: You can add the test summary here to help the employees have a concise overview of the test. The field has a character limit of 5000.

d. Type of Test: You can decide whether to allow multiple questions or single question view to the employee. Multiple questions with marks for review means that the employee can view all the questions at one go without answering. They can also mark a question for review if they are unsure of the answer and come back to the question later if time permits. 

On the other hand, a single question will not allow the employees to move to the next question without answering or skipping the current one. 

e.  Practice Test: You can allow employees to take a practice test. This helps them get familiarized with the test platform. 

f. Enable Calculator: You can enable the built-in calculator feature, and the employee will get the calculator icon on the test platform that can be used during the test.

2. Question Settings

With question settings, you can decide on the sequence of questions and even the answer options.

Random Questions: If enabled, no two employees will get the questions in the same order. e.g., Q1 will be different for John and Smith.

Random Answers: If enabled, this will mean that the answer options in MCQ or MAQ will be different for employees. For example, the correct answer option will be a for Smith, whereas it will be d for John.

Show Question Score: If enabled, this will indicate the number of points the question carries. 

3. Display Message Settings

You can choose which messages should be displayed to the employee during the test.

Display section end message: You can choose whether or not to display the section end message.

Display section-time left alert.

The system will alert the employees when less than 2 minutes are remaining in the section.

Allow employee feedback 

Enabling this will display a feedback page after completion of the test. This helps in knowing the employee's test experience.

4. Email Settings

You can choose to notify the employees on report generation.
