How does Task Ledger and Task Insights turn organizational tasks into actionable AI augmentation priorities?

Work Intelligence (Admin): Tasks Ledger & Task Insights

That job-profile context matters — the same task can receive a different verdict in another role, because the role changes how the work is actually done. Each row carries the role's department and how critical the task is to the role, shown as High, Medium, or Low criticality. With that role context established, the Augmentation Index scores each task and places it into one of three verdicts: Human-Led, AI Assisted, or AI-Led.

Before you start — the three verdicts:

  • Human-Led — a person does the work and owns the result. AI can help them prepare.
  • AI Assisted — AI does the work. A person reviews it and makes the call.
  • AI-Led — AI does it from start to finish. A person spot-checks.

The same task can carry a different verdict in a different role, so each row is one task in one role.

Tasks Ledger

Go to Work Intelligence → Tasks Ledger. Each row is a task mapped to a role, with its criticality (High / Medium / Low) and its augmentation verdict.

Search for a task or role

  1. In the Search by Task or Job Profile bar, type a task name or a job profile.

  2. The list filters as you type.
  3. Hover over a task to see its full Task Description as shown in the image above.

Filter the ledger

Use the filter to narrow the ledger to what you want to review.

  1. Click the filter icon at the top right of the list.
  2. Filter by augmentation type to instantly isolate Human-Led, AI Assisted, or AI-Led tasks for focused review.

  3. Or shift the lens to a specific job profile to bring its complete task list and verdicts into focus.

View or change a task's verdict

  1. Click the augmentation badge on a row (e.g. + AI Assisted) to open the Task × Job Profile panel.
  2. The panel shows the task, its role and criticality, and the current verdict with its source (e.g. the iMocha AI badge shows the model set it). The Reason explains why it scored that way.

  3. To change it, select a different verdict — Human-Led, AI Assisted, or AI-Led.
  4. Enter your Reason for the change. This is required — Save stays disabled until you do.
  5. Click Save.

Change (override) a verdict

  1. Click the row to open the Task × Job Profile panel.
  2. Under Augmentation for this job profile, select the verdict you want — Human-Led, AI Assisted, or AI-Led.
  3. In the Reason field, enter why you're changing it. This is required — Save stays disabled until you do.

  4. Click Save.

Task Insights

Go to Work Intelligence → Task Insights. Moving here, the same tasks are now arranged in a nine-cell view, helping you see where to act first.

In this overall view, the same tasks are mapped across two dimensions — who leads the work and how critical it is to the role. The horizontal axis moves from Human-Led to AI-Led; the vertical axis shows High, Medium, or Low task criticality. Each bubble represents one task within one job profile, and its size reflects annual work-hours — the larger the bubble, the greater the volume of work.

How to read it

Read it from the bottom-right and move up and to the left.

Act first (Low × AI-Led). This is the cleanest place to begin — low-criticality tasks that AI can lead. The gains are real while the impact of a mistake is comparatively low, so organisations can prove the operating model here before moving toward higher-criticality work.

Roll out copilots (Medium × AI Assisted). The organisation's biggest reskilling opportunity. The work remains, but AI copilots help people complete it faster and more effectively.

Protect (High × Human-Led). These tasks require human judgment, responsibility, and expertise. AI can support preparation and recall, but people should make the final decisions and continue developing their skills through this work.

What the other cells tell you

  • The volume play (Medium × AI-Led) — usually your largest pool of automatable work. Sequence right after the low-criticality wins land.
  • Pilot behind guardrails (High × AI-Led) — high value, high consequence. Pilot with audit trails and human escalation first.
  • Copilot with sign-off (High × AI Assisted) — speed up the routine half; keep a named person accountable.
  • Bundle, don't build (Low × AI Assisted) — fold into copilots already deployed elsewhere.
  • Leave as is for now (Medium × Human-Led) — little leverage, moderate stakes. Revisit later.
  • Challenge the work itself (Low × Human-Led) — usually a sign to simplify or stop, not automate.

Drill into the detail

  1. Click a cell to list every task in it underneath the chart.

  2. Click a row to open the full detail panel for that task — its department and job profile, criticality and augmentation verdict, the task description, and two tabs: Skills (the skills the task needs) and Employees (the people enrolled).

    • the department and job profile (Project Management Office · Project Coordination and Organization)
    • the task name (Coordinate travel and process expenses)
    • its Criticality (Low) and Augmentation verdict (AI-Led)
    • the task description
    • two tabs: Skills (4) and Employees (4) — the skills the task needs, and the people enrolled

Together, the two screens turn a hard question into a clear plan. The Tasks Ledger gives you the ground truth — every task, scored for the role that does it, with a reason you can open and a verdict you can correct. Task Insights turns that same data into a sequence: where to act first, where to protect people, and where the reskilling load will fall. Start in the Ledger to check and correct, then move to Task Insights to decide what to do — same tasks, two jobs.
