What Is Internal Mobility?
Internal Mobility enables organizations to fulfill talent demand using existing employees by matching open opportunities with verified skills, proficiency levels, and availability. Powered by AI-driven skill intelligence, it provides real-time insights to support faster, data-backed redeployment decisions.
End-to-End Workflow
This section walks you through every stage of the Internal Mobility journey in detail—from defining demand to continuously refining matches—so you can confidently identify and redeploy internal talent.
Step 1: Create an Internal Opportunity (Demand Definition)
The Internal Mobility workflow begins with creating an opportunity that represents a real business demand - such as a role, project, or short-term assignment.
Detailed flow
Go to the Internal Mobility module from the main navigation.
Click Create New Opportunity.
Enter the required opportunity details:
Opportunity Title – Clearly define the role or assignment name.
Location – Specify where the opportunity is based.
Open Positions – Number of employees required.
Job Description – Describe responsibilities, expectations, and outcomes.
Use the AI Job Description generator to:
Paste any job description or generate a description using AI.
Choose one of the following actions once you have entered the job description:
Save as Draft – Continue later
Proceed to Skill Calibration – Move to the next step

Mandatory fields must be completed before moving forward.
Draft opportunities remain editable at any time
Step 2: Skill Calibration and Proficiency Mapping
Once the opportunity is defined, calibrate the skills required to succeed in the role.
Detailed flow
The system analyzes the job description and auto-suggests relevant skills.
Skills are grouped by classification (domain, sub-domain, skill type).
Generate skills using AI or add missing skills manually
Assign a proficiency levels for each skill (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Mastery).
Edit skills using one-click actions like delete or manually add another skill.
Step 3: AI-Powered Match Scoring and Overview
After skills are calibrated, the platform automatically evaluates internal supply against demand. You can see overview and detailed employee insights.
The system compares required skills and proficiency levels with employees’ verified skill profiles.
Match results of employees are grouped into four categories:
Strong Match – Meets most or all requirements
Partial Match – Meets key skills with some gaps
Weak Match – Limited alignment
Not Matching – No meaningful alignment

Step 4: Employee-Level Insights and Shortlisting
Move from aggregate insights to individual employee evaluation.

Select employees and add them to a shortlist.
