Configuration of Auto Assessment - Admin View

Auto-Assessment Administration

When iMocha's AI generates skill assessments, they don't go live immediately. The Auto-Assessment Administration screen gives you a central place to review every AI-generated assessment before employees see it — so you can verify the content, preview the actual questions, and publish with confidence.

Accessing the screen

Go to Upskilling & Reskilling in the left navigation and click Auto-Assessment Administration.

Two views: By Job Profiles and By Skills

The screen has a toggle at the top to switch between two views. Use whichever matches how you want to work - by role or by skill.

By Job Profiles is useful when you want to clear assessments for an entire role at once, for example, before a review cycle kicks off for a specific team. It lets you see all skills under a job profile together and publish them in one action. The summary cards at the top display Total Job Profiles, Yet to Start, In Progress, and Published counts with percentage breakdowns. The table shows each job profile with its Department, number of Skills, Employees mapped to that profile, Last Updated date, Status, and a Review action.

By Skills is useful when you want to review a specific skill across the board - for example, checking how React JS looks before it goes live regardless of which job profile it belongs to. It also works well for organizations that haven't set up job profiles but still have skills with auto-generated assessments. The table here shows Skill (Display) Name, Domain, Sub-domain, Skills Cluster, Employees, Last Updated, Status, and a Review action. The summary cards show Total Skills, Yet to Start, and Published.

In both views, statuses are color-coded - Yet to Start (red outline), In Progress (orange outline), and Published (green outline) - - so you can scan the list at a glance.

Use Search to find a specific job profile or skill. The filter icon lets you narrow results further. Bulk Publish at the top right lets you select multiple items via checkboxes and publish them together.

Reviewing a job profile

Click Review on any job profile row to open the detail view. The header shows the job profile name, department tag, Approval Status, number of Approved Skills out of total (e.g. 10/42), Total Employees, and a Publish All Skills button.

The left panel lists all skills under this job profile with their individual statuses. Click any skill to load its assessment preview on the right.

Previewing a skill assessment

The right panel shows the selected skill's name, a description of what the assessment covers, and the tasks related to that skill.

Below that, each proficiency level is listed as a separate row - Beginner, Basic, Proficient, Advanced, and Expert - each with a Preview link. Clicking Preview opens the assessment in the test platform in a new tab so you can see the actual questions before anything goes live.

You can also access the same view directly from the By Skills tab. Clicking Review on a skill row opens a full-screen Preview Assessment page showing the skill description, Approval Status, Total Employees, all proficiency levels with Preview links, and a Publish Skill Assessment button.

Publishing

Once you've reviewed the content and are ready to go live, you have three options depending on where you are:

  • Publish Skill Assessment - publishes a single skill across all its proficiency levels
  • Publish All Skills - publishes all skills under a job profile in one action
  • Bulk Publish - from the main screen, select multiple job profiles or skills using the checkboxes and publish them together
