In today’s fast-paced talent ecosystem, having a single source of truth for an employee’s skills, experiences, and credentials is critical. The Employee Profile Summary offers a dynamic, one-page snapshot that consolidates an employee’s key data into a standardized, easy-to-consume format.
2. Workflow for Employee
2.1 Add Certificates, Resume, and Projects to enrich your profile
1. Log in to the Talent Portal.
There is a new section added on the Skills Profile page called Profile Summary Section. Navigate to the same.
2. Upload your resume by clicking on Add Resume for AI to infer and update the sections accordingly.
You can Validate Skills, Add or Add Certificates, Add Projects etc. to enrich your skills profile.
3. The system will automatically infer data to generate your profile summary.
You can either generate summary description or add/edit manually.
4. Education credentials and professional certifications are prominently displayed within the Profile Summary section, providing a comprehensive view of an employee’s academic background and validated skill sets.
3. Workflow for Manager’s Review
3.1 Submit for approval
1. Once your draft summary is ready, you can save it for further changes and keep it in draft or click Submit for Approval for the manager to approve the additions and changes.
2. The system sends the profile for managerial validation. Manager can click on Validate Team on Talent Portal. This will redirect them to the Talent Management Portal.
3.2 Manager’s Validation Process
1. On the Talent Management Portal, the manager lands on the Profile Summary page.
2. Profiles appear in these categories:
Yet to Validate
Partially Validated
Fully Validated
3. Managers can either validate the profile and Accept Profile, Request Revision, or Request Update (if outdated).
4. If the profile is accepted and no changes are required, you will receive a message accordingly, as shown.
5. When requesting a revision as a manager, you must provide a reason for the request before submitting it. The employee will receive a notification prompting them to update and resubmit their Profile Summary accordingly.
6. You can also click on Request Update to prompt the employee to refresh their profile, especially if the profile is outdated or the last update was done a long time ago, ensuring it remains current and skills-focused.
7. The employee will receive notifications for any actions requested by the manager (such as revision or update requests). Once the employee makes the necessary changes and resubmits the profile, the manager will receive an approval notification to review and either accept or further action the updated Profile Summary.
