Create my taxonomy by uploading and integrating information.
Once My Taxonomy Master page is updated with the required Domain, Sub-domain, Skill Cluster etc. we can stitch the tabs together to create a consolidate file. We can now change skill name for the skills found under Skill Master.
To create customized taxonomy now,
- Go to My Taxonomy under Skill Taxonomy.
- Click on Download to download the excel template to enter information.
- Below is a sample excel sheet to upload the information.
Update the domain, sub-domain, skill name (according to the Skill Master), skill display name according to business need. You have the flexibility to change the skill classification as well.
Note: All columns are mandatory except for Skill Description and Skill Tags.
The sheet also has instructions which needs to be followed while updating the information. - Click Upload, to upload the excel file.
- After each upload, a summary email is sent to the notification inbox, detailing successful and unsuccessful records along with remarks. If the upload fails, you can review the summary email for more information.
- Once the file has been uploaded successfully, the details can be seen on My Taxonomy page.
- You can filter or search the domain to refine your search within My taxonomy. Use the Filter option to get the desired results.
- You can choose domain, sub-domain and skill cluster option, to narrow down the results further. Once you have applied the filter, click on Apply.
- The displayed results are filtered based on the applied criteria.
- To edit any of the taxonomy names, click on download button to download and make the changes. Once done, upload the taxonomy file.
You have successfully added custom skill taxonomy to the profile.
