How to create a program?

Know how to create a program.

A program refers to a structured learning experience designed to help individuals acquire new skills or improve existing ones. A program is a collection of multiple Modules, and a module is a collection of multiple tests.

Note: You can add a maximum of 10 Modules in each Program and a maximum of 10 Tests in each Module.As required add all the modules to the test and the program will be created in the draft mode as follows:

To create a Program:

  1. Go to Skills Validation->My Programs -> Programs.
    A grid with the list of Programs is displayed. You can filter the list based on Published and Draft Programs.
    A maximum of 50 programs are listed on a single page.
  2. Click Create New Program, to create a new program.
  3. The following window appears. Fill in the Program Name, Description, Program Type, and Program start and end date.

    You can select the program Type from the list in the drop-down.
  4. Click Save, to save the Program.
    The Program is created and in draft mode now.
  5. Click Add Module, to add modules to the Program.
    Modules are collection of test that the assigned employees have to complete during the program with in the specified end date.
  6. The following window appears. Fill in the Module Name which is mandatory and if required add Description, and Module Start Date and End Date.

    Note:

    • Ensure each module has a unique name.
    • Ensure that the Module Name and Description does not exceed the character limit.
    • Ensure you add the Module Start and End Date within the selected Program date range.

  7. Click Add Tests.
  8. The list of test created by you is displayed. Select the Tests from the drop-down to include in the Module created and click Done.add test
  9. The following confirmation window appears, Click Save to add the selected test to the module.

  10. A program in Draft mode is created with the selected module.
    Once all the modules and tests are added to the Program, click Publish to move the program to published mode and will be available to assign it to the employees.
  11. Click Yes, publish now to confirm and publish the program.

Publish program

The program is now created successfully and will be displayed in the Programs page. 

To edit a Program:

Ensure to move a program to draft mode if it is in published mode.

Programs can be edited by adding new modules or editing the Module Name, description or dates. You can add or remove test from the module.

Click Edit Module and update the entries on the page that appears related to Module. 

You can add or remove Tests using the Add Tests or Remove Test options as indicated in the image below.

You can add a new Module to the program using the Add Module option.

Note: Each Module in the Program must have a unique name.

Once you have successfully created the program and published it. You can proceed to assign the program to the employees.
