How to configure custom fields in the talent management account?

Set up employee data custom fields in the accont.

Custom fields that are added to the employee data can define specific information relevant to the organization, such as certifications, project experience, business unit or division etc. By customizing these fields, you can create more accurate and comprehensive employee profiles. 

To set up employee data custom fields in the talent management portal,

  1. Login to talent management portal. Go to Admin Center -> Account Settings and click on Employee Data Custom Fields.

  2. Click on Add Custom Field on the top right corner of the page.

  3. On the Add Custom Field window, add Field Name like business unit, project, division, team etc. 
    Select the Data Type for the label like number, text or date and click Add.

  4. Upon clicking Add, the custom field is successfully added for the specific employees, and it will display with an Active status.

  5. You can also deactivate the custom field. If you click Deactivate, a confirmation window will appear. On clicking Yes, Project field will be removed from analytics and filters for  employees who have Project as a custom field.

  6. If the status is Active and new custom fields are added for employees, it's necessary to enrol the employees with custom field data and upload the HRMS data.
    Go to Admin Center ->Enrolment ->Upload HRMS Data.

  7. Click Download, to download the excel file template. The sheet will display new column named CustomField_Project for employee enrolment.

    Once the excel sheet is uploaded successfully with all the details, the employees will receive an email with login credential and link to the talent portal.

  8. When custom fields are added from the Admin Center by enrolling employee data, they will be displayed alongside the employee data in the Talent Pool.

    The custom fields will also be included in the filters, as shown below.

    You have successfully added custom fields for the employees. These fields can now be used to filter and categorize employees based on their needs and skills, enabling more tailored talent management and data analysis.
